Privacy Policy

Gym Logbook Pro · Last updated: 23 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Gym Logbook Pro (“App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the App. By using the App, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Overview

Gym Logbook Pro is designed to be local-first: workout logs primarily live on your device. Optional features—sign-in, cloud sync, Apple Health export, analytics, and crash reporting—process additional data as described below.

2. Information we process

2.1 On your device

Depending on how you use the App, we may store locally:

2.2 Account and cloud sync (optional)

If you sign in with Apple or Google, we process account identifiers and profile metadata needed to authenticate you (such as a user ID, and display name or email when the provider shares them). When cloud sync is enabled for a signed-in account, workout and library data associated with that account may be stored on our cloud backend so you can restore or use it across devices.

Device session information (for example device model, OS version, app version, locale, and last-active time) may be stored to show your signed-in devices and support remote sign-out.

2.3 Apple Health / Fitness (optional)

If you enable Apple Health export, the App may write finished workouts to Apple Health as workout samples (and optional distance when authorized). The App does not write calories and does not import Health data for training history. Apple’s privacy terms apply to data stored in Health.

2.4 Analytics and crash reporting

We may collect anonymized or pseudonymous product analytics (feature usage events) and crash diagnostics to improve reliability. These services may include device and app technical information (such as OS version, app version, and crash stacks). We do not sell your personal information.

2.5 Export / import

If you export or import a backup, the file you choose to share or restore is under your control. We do not receive exported files unless you send them to us yourself.

3. How we use information

4. Legal bases (where required)

Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the App you request); your consent (for example optional Health access or analytics where consent is required); and legitimate interests (security, reliability, and product improvement) that do not override your rights.

5. Sharing

We share information only as needed to run the App:

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Retention

Local data remains on your device until you delete it (including via in-app delete / Recycle Bin flows) or remove the App. Cloud account and synced data are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for backups, abuse prevention, or legal obligations. You may request account deletion where the App provides that control; local workouts may remain on device after account deletion unless you remove them separately.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to a consumer fitness logbook (including transport encryption for network requests and provider-managed authentication). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can delete it.

9. International transfers

If you use cloud features, your data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms provided by those vendors.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us at davit.ghushchyan@gmail.com or via Support to exercise those rights.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.

12. Contact
