Does Lull work offline?

Yes. Fan sounds are generated on your device and play without a network connection. The app periodically checks for new fan sounds and catalog updates in the background, which needs an internet connection, but playback of sounds you've already used does not.

How do I unlock all fan sounds or remove ads?

Open the paywall from the "Pro" button in the app. Lull offers Pro Yearly (auto-renewing, unlocks every sound and removes ads), Pro Lifetime (one-time purchase, same benefits, no renewal), and Remove Ads (one-time purchase, ads only).

I purchased Pro but the app still shows it as locked

Open Settings and tap "Restore Purchases." This re-syncs your entitlements with your Apple ID. If the issue persists, contact us with your support reference from the app so we can look into it.

How does the sleep timer work?

Set a fade-out duration in Settings or from the Now Playing screen. Lull will smoothly fade the sound out and stop playback once the timer ends — no hard cutoff.

Can I play fan sounds in the background or from the Lock Screen?

Yes. Once playback starts, you can lock your phone or switch apps and control playback (play/pause, volume) from the Lock Screen or Control Center.

Can I mix Lull with other audio, like music or a podcast?

Yes — enable "Mix with other audio" in Settings to let fan sounds play alongside other apps instead of interrupting them.

Why do some fans show a lock icon?

Free users get a rotating fan for free each day, plus temporary unlocks from a rewarded ad. Locked fans open the paywall; unlocking Pro removes all locks permanently.

New fan sounds appeared — where do they come from?

The fan catalog updates remotely, so new sounds can appear without an app update. No personal data is sent when this happens — see our Privacy Policy for details.
