How do I play in Airplane Mode?
- Turn on Airplane Mode.
- Switch Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi back on in Control Center. You don't need to join a Wi‑Fi network; it only has to be on.
- Open AirPlayne Games on every phone and allow Local Network and Bluetooth when the app asks.
- On one phone, open the Connect tab and tap Connect next to your friend's phone. On the other phone, tap Accept.
My friend's phone doesn't appear.
- Check that Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi are on on both phones (Airplane Mode turns them off).
- On both phones open Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network and turn AirPlayne Games on.
- Keep the app open on both phones and sit within about 10 meters of each other.
- Tap Connect on one phone only, then Accept on the other.
- Still nothing? Close the app on both phones and open it again.
How many people can play?
Up to 5 phones in one room. Only the hub 👑 can add more friends; the hub is the phone that reaches the most friends and changes by itself when someone is better placed.
The connection dropped.
The app reconnects by itself. Keep it open while playing: if a phone locks or switches to another app for a long time, it may leave the room.
Does it use my mobile data?
No. Chat and games go directly between the phones over Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi. When a phone does have internet, the app sends small anonymous usage statistics (see the Privacy Policy).
Free play and AirPlayne Unlimited
How much can I play for free?
Every phone gets 5 hours of free gameplay. After that, games stay open for 24 more hours, then starting or joining a game needs AirPlayne Unlimited. Chat and connecting are always free.
Do all my friends need to subscribe?
No. One subscriber in a room unlocks games for everyone connected to that room.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
In the app open Settings › Unlimited › Manage subscription, or on your iPhone open Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › AirPlayne Unlimited. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next renewal. You keep Unlimited until the period ends.
How do I restore my purchase on a new phone?
Sign in with the same Apple ID, open the app, then tap Settings › Unlimited › Restore purchases (also on the subscription screen). Restoring is free.
How do I get a refund?
Payments are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I use a promo code?
Open Settings › Unlimited, type the code into Promo code and tap Redeem. The phone needs internet for a moment. The days of free access apply to the phone that redeems the code.
